K's for Kids sponsor some k's to help kids and help us get home...
As part of this epic journey home, we're hoping to make a difference in the lives of children orphaned by AIDS in our destination city - Cape Town ... To do this, we've teamed up with The Warehouse Trust and Care for Kids to offer you the opportunity to support these charities by "purchasing" some of the kilometers we'll be covering. Our aim is to raise at least R30 000 ($5000) over the 30000 km journey.

About Care for Kids
Care For Kids was started in 2003 by The Warehouse Trust to address the challenge of Orphans and Vulnerable Children in South Africa, with orphans affected by HIV/AIDS estimated at being in the region of 2 million by the year 2010.
Care For Kids partners with local churches in poor communities, equipping them to provide holistic care to over 400 orphans and vulnerable children and their carers by providing physical relief and psycho-social support.
By the end of 2008 Care for Kids will be supporting 800 children. Your support will enable churches to care for these children.
